We’ve established the connection between prohibited for eating and prohibited for benefit. So what do we do with these substances? Must they be burned? Why does the Torah prohibit some substances more than once? What does the repetition teach? Can one action result in liability for two offenses? The Torah prohibits cooking a kid in its mother’s milk. How do we know it’s prohibited to eat milk with meat? How do we know it’s prohibited to benefit from such a mixture?
