When we travel from one place to another, and they have different customs with respect to Jewish law, do we do like them? If they are taking on unnecessary stringencies, do we tell them? Examples include localities where they 1) separate the priest’s challah offering from rice dough, 2) don’t allow brothers to bathe together, 3) don’t wear slipper-like shoes on Shabbos, 4) don’t sit on stools on Shabbos that may have been used for commerce during the week, and 5) don’t work during the morning before Passover.
