A Fool’s Urgent Question

"Rabbi, what can I do? I know I'm a fool, but I don't know what to do about it."

“Rabbi, what can I do? I know I’m a fool, but I don’t know what to do about it.”

“My friend, if you know you’re a fool, then you’re not a fool at all!”

“But, Rabbi, why does everyone say I’m a fool?”

“Ah! If you have no other reason to believe you’re a fool except listening to what people say, then indeed you are a fool.”
